easy earings

I sit a night and make earrings

Earrings are quick and easy; why not make multiple pairs for gifts? Here, we share multiple styles and how-to so you can make a whole jewelry box full of them.

Simple earrings can be assembled with a few basic tools and supplies. Useful tools include needle-nose pliers and chain-nosed pliers; supplies include headpins, jump rings, wire, beads, sequins, small charms and adhesives. Ear wires, earring backs and other items are easy to find in bead and craft stores. Ear wires need to be hypoallergenic: surgical steel and precious metals such as gold and silver are less likely to provoke a reaction.

Professional looking earrings can be assembled from pre-made ear wires, jump rings and charms. A jump ring, opened with pliers, is slipped through the loops on the charm and on the ear wire and closed again. Bracelet charms can make attractive earrings, as can charms found in the scrapbooking supply section of craft stores. Metal charms can be used for an elegant look; plastic charms in bright colors can look fun and funky.
I made these when i saw a pair at the store.

Recycled Materials

  • Many small items can be recycled to make quick and easy ear drops. Soda can tabs can be joined together with jump rings or woven onto ribbon or cord, then attached to ear wires. Shapes can be cut from clear plastic soda bottles, punched with small holes and threaded onto ear wires. Paper ear drops can be made by cutting images from an old magazine and laminating them with contact paper or clear duct tape.

It is not hard to find a design .Just look around you will see it.
